Debbie Brahs has led an impressive career as a telecommunications professional and business owner in her 22 years working in the telecom industry. In 2012, she was named a Future 15 Awardee by the El Paso Hispanic Chamber of Commerce for the Fastest Growing Companies in El Paso, Texas. Debbie has also been featured as a speaker for the Women's Business Border Center helping women entrepreneurs succeed in the federal marketplace.
Serving as the President/CEO at EP Techworks, LLC, Debbie plays a major role in business development, forming strategic alliances, and contract management. Through her commitment to this role, she has helped EP Techworks establish a strong presence in the regional federal, education, and healthcare marketplace.
Prior to her role at EP Techworks, Debbie worked as an Operations Manager at Sky City Communications, a division of Acoma Business Enterprises helping the Pueblo of Acoma expand its fiber optic network and developing their telecommunications division into a revenue generating business with over 30 employees.
Debbie was born in Roswell, New Mexico and grew up in El Paso, Texas. She has spent the last 20 years commuting between El Paso and Rio Rancho to serve her customers throughout west Texas and New Mexico. She and her husband Chris, a disabled veteran run a non-profit organization for veteran suicide prevention, Outlaw Desert Racing. In her free time, she visits her daughter in San Antonio and likes to vacation in tropical places.
